Midsummer/Chinacat

This poster started as a commissioned project to promote a summer solstice event called MidSummer. The event focused on celebrating the changing of seasons as well as music and art within the community. As I was working on the design, I noticed a number of serendipitous song references to one of my all time favorite bands, The Grateful Dead and reworked parts of the poster to appeal to fellow Grateful Dead fans.
