Grounds is the sister company to Whimsical Beans, Ellicott City's local whimsical coffee shop. In addition to supporting Whimsical Beans' brand philosophy of brewing the best coffee in town while embracing your child-like wonder, Grounds' main objective is to recycle customer's coffee grinds, mixing them with plant seeds in the burlap bags pictured below, for gardening purposes. The customer simply brings their coffee grounds from their Whimsical Beans coffee into the Grounds store (conveniently located next door to Whimsical Beans), and receives a free burlap bag mixed with their coffee grinds and plant seeds. The bag also comes with a complimentary label featuring a whimsical fairytale, which notes the seeds that are in the bag, as well as in the label itself. Both the contents of the bag and the label itself can be recycled for gardening purposes. The grounds bags featured below contain sunflower seeds, rose seeds and soy beans.  Both Whimsical Beans and Grounds takes pride in their commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability.
